The original funky dread makes a welcome return to the Fidgit soundsystem! Jazzie B is without a doubt one of Plan B’s very most favourite DJ’s playing everything from Soul II Soul classics and exclusives to the most forward thinking beats around. COMPACT DISCO w/ X-PRESS 2
ROOM TWO - HIGHER GROUND w/ BLACKBEARD & YAM WHO
Compact Disco (first Saturday of the month) continues with very special guests X-Press 2 playing an exclusive six turntable show. Just in case you haven’t been paying attention to dance music for the last five years or so - Rocky, Diesel and Ashley Beedle (the three members of X-Press 2) have been responsible for some of the biggest tracks around, including the ridiculously successful ‘Lazy’ (which featured David Byne from Talking Heads). Meanwhile, the basement is hosted by long serving local promoters and club heroes Higher Ground laying down a soundtrack of deep house and spiritual soulfulness. Joining Higher Ground resident Trevor Fung are special guests Blackbeard and Yam Who who will playing everything from neo soul to the best in broken beat and beyond!

SUPERBAD
Sundays are still the new Saturdays round Plan B’s way and Superbad keep on keeping on all the way though to the early hours of Monday morning with a sweet selection of soul, funk and boogie! More live music from the Diff’rent Strokes boys Chico & Mr Blue Movies… this week they welcome guests The Reluctants and Jap Sluts (!?!) down to Brixton to showcase their new material. Meanwhile in the basement it’s all about them bassbins, with Plan B’s new friends Drumz Of The South taking over for a night of dubstep and forward thinking beats!

ROOM TWO HOSTED BY THE HEATWAVE
All City label boss Dan Greenpeace keeps it local with an old school hip hop set at Fidgit. Warming things up for the evening we have invited the Old Boy Entertainment crew along for a bit of Hip Hop Karaoke (you can get on the mic from about 9ish) with free beer for anyone who signs up and performs and a couple of Puma goodie bags for them extra special people. Meanwhile downstairs on the basement our friends from Heatwave drop 80’s reggae, old school dancehall and hip hop!

DEEP w/ DENNIS FERRER (DEFECTED / OBJEKTIVITY)
New night Deep makes it’s debut at Plan B with very special guest Dennis Ferrer flying in for an exclusive three hour set. For those who don’t already know, Dennis is a regular on the New York scene, playing with the likes of Kerri Chandler, Quentin Harris, Louie Vega, Francois K, Joe Clausell and Timmy Regisford. However, he is probably best known for his work as a producer, having had phenomenal success over the past few years, with recent work including remixes of 'Most Precious Love' by Blaze and 'Cure & the Cause' by Fish Go Deep. Dennis has also just released a brand new album all of his own - 'The World As I See It' which includes the soon to be huge single 'Touched the Sky'. Tickets are on sale now!!!

OFF THE WALL
One of our biggest Sunday night parties gets even bigger, with not one, but two rooms of 80’s and 90’s classics! Upstairs in the main room regular guests the Mixaphonics get the party started, while downstairs is all about the funk, soul and disco. If you don’t already know, this is probably one of the best ways to ruin your week… fantastic cocktails, beautiful people and that little something something!

THE THROWDOWN – OCTAGON BATTLE (PART 2)
B-boy specialists The Throwdown host part two of the Octagon battle. Invented and hosted by the legendary American breaker Alien Ness (Zulu Nation), the Octagon battle aims to test the skill and control of the competing breakers by confining their dance space to a seven foot wide Octagon (you see what they did there). Also on the night they have DJ’s Donna Dee, Timber, Herse and Blowfelt… plus a UV sensitive graffiti wall supplied by their friends Candiography!

Daddy Skitz has to be one of the biggest names in UK hip hop… when he’s not killing soundsystem’s with partner in rhyme Rodney P, he is busy producing and releasing some of the best homegrown sounds around. Tonight the Fidgit boys have asked him to take it back to the old school (you know how they do) so expect plenty of classic hip hop tracks (including more than a few London Posse cuts) and a few forgotten favourites! Keeping it real in the basement we welcome the godfather of drum’n’bass, V Recordings top dog, Mr Bryan Gee who will be joined by a few guests from the label!

Underground house and electro from the Zipcode crew with guests Junior J and Kriss Darang joining residents Ben Dela Pena and Brad 212 Findlay in the main room, with new night Pogo in the basement with DJ's Mal Foggarty and Captain Dom playing broken beats, disco treats and anything in between.

Meanwhile, Drumz Of The South get all bass heavy with guests including Oneman and Darkstar playing dubstep in the basement!

The fantastic Sarah Love heads south of the river to play at Fidgit. A resident at the infamous Kung Fu parties (along with Harry Love) and a regular at hip hop nights in Australia, Africa and throughout Europe, Sarah knows how to cold rock a party and tonight at Fidgit she will be giving the boys a run for their money! Meanwhile, the new room is hosted by our friends from The Throwdown (check Thursday nights at Plan B for more information) with DJ’s Blowfelt, Herse and the the lovely Donna Dee!

FAVOURITIZM PRESENT DJ DEATH MATCH w/ LIQUID PEOPLE
Back by dope demand, the lovely people from Favouritizm host another of their irregular DJ Death Match parties, a showdown where the worlds best DJ's / clubs / record shops/ labels / bands and radio stations are invited to step up to the decks and compete against their opponent’s in a back to back turntable frenzy! Having previously hosted battles between Defected vs Soulfuric and Graham Park vs Mike Pickering (amongst others), Team Favouritizm - Sarah Foote and Simon Reid take on the mighty Liquid People (Conan Manchester & Dan Smith) for a full on four hour battle! Expect house old and new, and pretty much anything in between!

SOUL UNIQUE
Soul Unique continue to push the boundaries with exclusive live music and showcases from international artists. Previous guest have included Don-E and Omar! Meanwhile, local boy Keith Lawrence (Muzik Ed) takes over the new basement for a night of broken beat, nu soul and forward thinking beats!
