Toolroom Knights celebrate 1st Birthday: 03.10.07

One year after the launch of Mark Knight’s iconic Toolroom Knights party, and the boys are set to bring the house music world to its knees once again! The Toolroom label pioneers a sound and attitude that has commanded respect from an industry hungry for the integrity of their production skills and the quality of their events.

The parties, based around the label’s and Mark’s distinctive sound have brought the underground sound of Toolroom Records to the overground, hosting parties at key venues across the UK and Europe, creating a unique party atmosphere that so many ‘nerdy label-nights’ lack.

Always packing out the club, the story of Toolroom Knights at Ministry of Sound has been one of staggering success, bringing the biggest guest names and their groundbreaking sound to a public hungry for more. Pushing musical boundaries the Knights have gone bravely where no one has gone before, exposing new talent and discovering the leaders of the new school!

Now here for their very special first birthday, the Knights return with San Franciscan duo Gabriel and Dresden, here to launch their forthcoming Toolroom Knights album. Voted ‘Best American DJ’ at this year’s Winter Music Conference International Dance Music Award (IDMA), an already amazing year for the pair is now capped off in fine style with the unveiling of this the second CD in the Toolroom Knights series. Joining Gabriel & Dresden and Mark Knight in the bar D Ramirez completes the line-up.

As ever pushing forward and supporting the best of new talent, Toolroom has called upon Dutch wunderkind Bart B More heading up the bar. With his forthcoming track Toolroom track ‘So It Goes’ supported by Mark Knight, Nic Fanciulli, James Zabiela and being crowned ‘Pete Tong’s’ Essential New Tune ‘, can this boy do no wrong?! Also on the line-up keep your ears open for the sounds and beats of hot new MOS resident Richard Dinsdale alongside Toolroom’s rising star’s Pete Griffiths, and The Sucker DJ’s.

With lots to celebrate this promises to be an all night audio assault!!
