Having scored his first record deal at the tender age of eighteen and spent the intervening years forging an airtight reputation as a prolific and obnoxiously talented DJ/Producer, Laidback Luke returns with a re-energised remake of his own 2001 club classic, ‘Rocking With The Best’.
Since starting to DJ professionally in 1996, Luke has consistently delivered exquisitely executed high-energy sets to hungry crowds and heaving dancefloors the world over. The man who was initially stirred into pursuing a musical career by an infectious cocktail of house, acid house and techno had found his calling mixing as many as forty tracks an hour for baying audiences in their hundreds of thousands, pumping out synapse-igniting combinations of everything from tech-house to electro-synth-pop and beyond.
Following the unveiling of his 2002 artist album ‘Electronic Satisfaction’, and a hiatus during which he sought fresh sonic inspiration and reaffirmed his passion for boundary-breaking electronic music, he releases his 2007 version of ‘Rocking With The Best’, a thunderous, synth-laden mini-epic poised to once again become a club-land monolith of truly endemic proportions. “It's the revenge of a Dutch classic.
