Details: There’s no stopping Suesse Records churning out quality house music as they proudly present their second release of 2007 with Payami’s ‘Backspace’.
American born producer Ali Payami is the man behind this exceptional track. At the ripe old age of 22 he’s already remixed and produced on a number of tracks ranging from the pop and mainstream to the cool and underground, across Europe on labels like Bigstar (Denmark) and Bonnier Amigo (Sweden); and this isn’t the first time his talents have been called for by Suesse Records…
Back in 2005, ‘Backspace’ was signed to Openair Recordings but for some unfathomable reason; it never got a full release. This was music to the ears of Suesse bosses who snapped up the track as soon as it became available, and on 16th March, Suesse are to give ‘Backspace’ the full release it deserves.
Payami’s original version of this track is a melodic production that would sit nicely in an Electro, Progressive House or even a Trance DJ set. It’s a unique track; impossible to pigeon hole. On the remixes, Suesse have brought in the talent of former Openair maestro, Mohawk who brings the track back into the peak time domain with a more accessible mix for the up for it floors. Payami re-rubs his original to create the ‘Weekend’ remix which takes the track up a few notches in similar style to his memorable remixes of The Group Dynamic ‘Consequences’, out on Suesse last year. The final remix comes from experimental outfit ‘Le Garde’ who turn the euphoric ambience of the original into an after hours chill out mix with soothing strings.
With Top 10 chart positions on Beatport, Radio 1 plays, and enough DJ support to fill a DJ Top 100 list, Suesse Records is breaking into the New Year and it means serious business! |
