Details: One of the most forward thinking breakbeat labels on the planet is back
on vinyl with a double header from Karton and Digitalis, once again
uniting the global scene. Karton should need no introduction at this
point as pretty much every breakbeat or drum & bass act visiting
Australia will have had Karton opening for them. Recent production work
includes a massive remix for Bass Kleph.
These boys are definitely
making a name for themselves. "Mugstar" is a no nonsense dancefloor
track with the usual top production values of a Sound of Habib release,
and is seeing a wide range of early supporters, including the Plump DJs.
The remix crosses over into nuskool territory thanks to Digitalis. Flip
for a trip down to south London and a Digitalis orginal production
called "Dealing with it". Digitalis, aka Seb Taylor, has a had a
selection of tunes out on Sinister records. His debut on Sound of Habib
has rock infused vocals and a heavy nuskool groove. Karton return the
remix favour with a heavy remix with that distinct and heavy Austalian
