Details: An unknown track being championed by Radio One this tune has the makings of a massive underground hit.
A complex and contagious mixture of drum’n’bass and distinctive skyscraping piano riffs, 526 is one of those tunes you feel you’ve heard before but you can’t quite put your finger on where!
Written and produced by the previously unheard of RJ Productions and named after its position on RJ’s database track listing, 526 is a pulsating crossover between chilled out classical hooks and asian influenced d’n’b.
526 became the most requested listener track on Nihal + Bobby Friction's Radio One show in 2007. UK listeners have been desperate to get hold of the track and in response Dice Music have signed up the track for a full UK release.
More support has come from Radio One’s Colin Murray and in the last week Huw Stephens also has picked up on the tune for his show.
The promo single also includes Stockholm Syndrome’s eclectic, house mash up of the tune.
