Details: Kidology Records raises the bar on its musical output this year and launches its very own compilation series: Kidology presents ‘London After Dark vol. 1’ mixed by label don, Mark Wilkinson.
‘London After Dark’ captures the sound of exactly that – London clubbing at night but in particular the sounds of the Kidology parties held at Pacha and The White House, which are rapidly gaining a vast and loyal following, month after month.
The track list brings together sounds from the Kidology dance floors such as the massive Radio 1 ‘Floor Filler’ Dab Hands ‘Supergood’, Armand Van Helden’s ‘I Want Your Soul’ (TV Rock Mix), and a ‘Higher State of Consciousness’ by Wink (TV Rock & Dirty South Mix): as well as unreleased material from Jesse Garcia ‘Off da Hook’ and Sound Dezign ‘Happiness’ with Mark Wilkinson on the remix.
2008 has already seen Kidology Records putting out more quality music than ever before and many of the label’s top releases can be found on this compilation including Dynamite Souls ft Mark Lemon ‘Now That You’re Gone’ and Mark Wilkinson vs. Danny Dove ft General Levy ‘Eye Candy’.
With the launch of a new website including an easy to use download store, ‘London After Dark vol. 1’ will be available from www.kidologyrecords.com in both mixed and unmixed formats for those wanting to add a sprinkling of Kidology to a set. A two disc, CD album containing the DJ mix and the DJ friendly, unmixed version is also available; and at just £5 you can download the DJ mix exclusively via the Kidology website.
To celebrate the release of ‘London After Dark’, Kidology will throw a number of album launch parties with its first being on 3rd May at Pacha where Mark Wilkinson will bash out a five hour long set.
