Details: Never ones to boast, brag, or blow our own, but on this occasion it has to be said the release of this Housexy album is without doubt a huge testament to a fantastic brand that deserves a little applause - 10 releases is a milestone for any record label! And in true Housexy style we’re celebrating with our sexiest, sassiest double pack mix CD to date, seamlessly blended by Housexy resident Richard Murray. Featuring some of the finest artists who have graced the previous albums such as Armand van Helden, ATFC, Mark Knight, Seamus Haji, Quentin Harris – this album is set to be a winner full of that feel good Housexy sound, a real statement of what our parties are all about.
Setting the tone Groove Armada’s ‘Love Sweet Sound’ kicks off CD 1 – instantly making you wanna get up and dance – it has summer written all over it, LAZY, LAID BACK grooves. Building nicely throughout CD 1 offers something for everybody – dirty basslines (track 7) ‘Come Get My Lovin’, big piano rifts (track 9) ‘ I believe’, and edgy electro (track 13) ‘Better Day’. CD 2 takes it a little deeper, building throughout with BIG basslines – Armand Van Helden ‘ Je T’aime’, Utah Saints ‘Something Good 08’, and Mark Knight and Funkagenda’s ‘Shogun’ all tracks you expect to hear peak time on a Saturday night, the perfect musical journey.
To celebrate this 10th Housexy release there’s a series of exclusive parties planned over the forthcoming months, hitting many key cities both internationally and across the UK. (see dates below). Also, BREAKING HOUSEXY NEWS - Housexy have landed their 1st Ibiza summer residency @ Eden, kicking off the season on 5th June 2007. The parties will run on a weekly basis, and will feature all the Housexy residents. Pre party Launch to be held on 10th May (more info to follow nearer the date)
