Details: Once again, the movers, shakers and tastemakers are heading for Miami. The Winter Music Conference is coming and the hottest dance music on the planet will be showcased in some of the world’s finest clubs. As always, Azuli have their ear to the ground and are predicting which tunes are going to rock Miami, on the longest running Miami compilation series out there…Azuli presents Miami 2008.
Out on 3rd March, Azuli Records will deliver an album of carefully selected tracks that they believe are future hits, and the tunes that will be rocking dancefloors in Miami Beach. The WMC is one of the biggest and most anticipated events in the dance music calendar and is a sure-fire indicator of what we will be dancing to throughout the summer. The tunes heard at the back-to-back WMC parties will spread out to influence dancefloors across the world.
Only one label has been successfully predicting the big Miami tunes since 1999. Azuli have consistently delivered their up front Miami album, long before any imitators and it has become immensely popular, not least with DJs who can enjoy the album in a DJ friendly, unmixed format. This gives a DJ 20 of the year’s hottest tracks for an unbelievable £10.99! Azuli head honcho David Piccioni is in charge of track selection and it’s so up to the minute that the tracklist is only completed right at the final deadline.
This time round, look out for future classics from Axwell ‘Submariner’, Fred Falke ‘Love Theme’ and Marco Demark ‘Tiny Dancer’ (Deadmau5 Mix), alongside hot new productions from Laidback Luke ‘Break Down The House’ (Tocadisco Mix) and Pryda ‘Muranyi’
If proof were needed that the tunes on this album will be the defining sound of the WMC then look no further than Dream on Miami Beach on 29th March. This is where Azuli will be announcing their arrival and staging their own ‘Club Azuli’ party. The tune selection has been spot on since 1999 and now Azuli will fire up the Dream soundsystem and show that these tracks are big enough to cause a sandstorm on Miami Beach!
