| Directory - Help |
| Please
find below an FAQ list of helpful information regarding
the UK Club Directory. If however the answer to
your question is not found below please feel free

| How to register:
To register on the directory simply click
on the text link at the top of the directory page
labeled Register or alternatively Click
Here. Once clicked the page will refresh and
the following fields will be required to be completed,
Username, Email, Password, Password Confirm. Once
all fields have been entered click ok and your account
will be created. All accounts are validated immediately. |
| How to add an
event: Browse to the town or city where your
event is staged then click on the text link at the
top of the directory page labeled, Submit Event.
Once clicked the page will refresh and the following
fields will be required to be filled in, Venue,
Address, Occurrence, Week Day, Hours, Genre, Ticket
Price, Tel Info, Capacity, Details. Once all fields
have been entered click ok and your event will be
added to the directory. Please do not submit events
to the main category's for example Midlands instead
browse to the town/city where your event is held
for example Midlands - Coventry. |
| How to update
an event: Simply click on the text link at
the top of the directory page labeled, My Listings.
Once clicked the page will refresh and a list of
your events will appear. Click on the name of your
event and the event details will appear on the page,
then click on the text labeled modify. The screen
should now display all the event details edit to
your liking and then click the ok button at the
bottom of the page. You should now see a screen
detailing your event after the changes. |
| How to delete
an event: Simply click on the text link at
the top of the directory page labeled, My Events.
Once clicked the page will refresh and a list of
your events will appear. Click on the name of your
event and that event details will appear on the
page, then click on the text labeled delete. You
will now be asked to confirm your action, do so
by clicking ok. Once clicked your event will be
deleted from the directory. |
| How to change
your password: Simply click on the text link
at the top of the directory page labeled, Change
Password. Once clicked the page will refresh and
a screen will appear requesting your new password
and for you to confirm your new password. Once all
entered click ok and the change will be completed. |
How to create
a website link: Simply enter the following
text into the list box,

Edit the website address with your events website
address including the http:// Please leave the rest
of the text as is. |
| What if your
town/city is not listed: Simply email the
Directory Team on directory@uk-cl.co.uk
stating the town/city name and which category it
should be placed within. Maximum response time should
be within one working day. |
| Event page views:
Page views will only be counted when guests view
event details. |
| Prolonging an
event listing: Registered users will receive
an automatic email when their event has 10 days
or less to run on the directory. To prolong the
event listing for another 90 days simply login to
your account and click on my events. Your submitted
events should now be listed on the page, events
which can be prolonged will feature a prolong link
next to them. Simply click on the prolong link to
prolong the event listing. If you are unable to
view the prolong event link please email directory@uk-cl.co.uk
and we will prolong the event for you. If however
you do not prolong your event the listing will be
removed from the town/city category. You may however
prolong your event at a later date after the 40
day period. |
